TELUS Bring-It-Back
Get a flagship phone for less by agreeing to return it in good condition after two years.
Bring-It-Back lowers what you pay upfront for a flagship phone in exchange for a commitment to return it, in working condition, at the end of your two-year term. It is not a lease and it does not add a monthly device charge — the saving is applied at purchase, and the return is what you have agreed to in return for it. Whether it suits you comes down to one honest question: are you the kind of person who keeps a phone in good condition and upgrades on schedule?

What happens at the end of TELUS Bring It Back?
At the end of the two-year term you either return the phone in good working condition, or keep it and repay the upfront saving you received. A damaged phone counts as keeping it. Bring-It-Back cuts the upfront price in exchange for that commitment, and adds no monthly device charge.
How it works, in three steps
The mechanics are simple, and worth understanding fully before you sign, because the third step is the one that carries the cost if things go wrong.
- You buy an eligible flagship at a reduced upfront price, with no additional monthly device charge added to your plan
- You use the phone normally for the two-year term
- At the end, you either return it in acceptable condition, or keep it and repay the upfront saving you received
What condition the phone has to be in
This is the part that decides whether the program saves you money or costs you. A returned device has to meet every one of the following — failing any single one means repaying the discount.
- Powers on and navigates to the home screen normally
- Activation lock disabled and all personal information wiped
- Screen undamaged, with no cracks
- Display working properly, with no dead spots or bruising
- Body undamaged — no cracks, missing parts or signs of water damage
Who it suits, and who it does not
Bring-It-Back rewards people who use a case, upgrade roughly every two years and would have traded the phone in anyway. It works against people who keep phones for four or five years, or who have a track record of cracked screens. If you are in the second group, a standard purchase or financing usually works out better, and we will say so — the point of talking it through in store is to land on the option that actually fits.
Protecting the commitment
Because the whole risk sits in device condition, device protection changes the arithmetic more here than on an ordinary purchase. AppleCare+ or TELUS Device Care means a cracked screen is a repair rather than a repaid discount, and a case and fitted screen protector are the cheaper half of the same insurance. It is worth pricing all of it together rather than deciding piece by piece.

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens at the end of TELUS Bring It Back?
At the end of the two-year term you either return the phone in good working condition, or keep it and repay the upfront saving you received. A damaged phone counts as keeping it. Bring-It-Back cuts the upfront price in exchange for that commitment, and adds no monthly device charge.
What happens if I want to keep my phone at the end?
You can. You repay the upfront Bring-It-Back saving you originally received, and the phone is yours outright. Nothing is repossessed and there is no penalty beyond repaying that amount.
What if my screen is cracked when I return it?
A cracked screen fails the return criteria, so you would repay the Bring-It-Back discount. This is the main risk in the program and the reason device protection such as AppleCare+ or TELUS Device Care is worth considering alongside it.
Does Bring-It-Back add a monthly charge to my bill?
No. The benefit is applied to the upfront price of the device rather than spread across your bill, so there is no additional monthly device charge attached to it.
Which phones are eligible?
Eligibility covers current flagship models and changes as new devices launch. Call or visit any Bolt Wireless store and we will tell you what is on the program right now.
