Choosing by How Your Team Works, Not Just Its Size

A five-person office where everyone sits at a desk on wi-fi needs a very different plan from a five-person crew working out of trucks all day. Data pooling helps when usage is uneven — one person on video calls and four barely using data — while separate allowances make more sense when everyone uses roughly the same amount. Bring us a recent bill and we can see the actual pattern rather than guessing at it.

  • Pooled or shared data across all lines on the account
  • One bill for the business rather than individual accounts
  • Add and remove lines as staff join and leave
  • Canada-wide and US options for teams that travel
  • Business-grade support rather than the consumer queue

Moving From Personal Phones to Business Lines

Plenty of small businesses run on staff personal phones until it becomes a problem — expense claims, staff leaving with the customer-facing number, no control over the bill. Moving to business lines lets the company own the numbers, which is usually the real reason to switch. We can port existing numbers across, including ones currently on personal accounts with the employee's consent, without anyone losing their number.

Devices, Financing and Replacing Broken Handsets

Business accounts can finance devices across the account rather than per person, and stagger upgrades so you are not replacing every handset the same month. It is worth deciding upfront how a broken or lost phone gets replaced, because that is the situation that costs a working day when nobody has planned for it. We can hold spare stock arrangements for larger accounts.

What to Bring When You Come In

To set up or quote a business account we need your business name and number, a recent bill from your current provider if you are switching, and ID for whoever signs. If you want an accurate comparison rather than a rough one, the bill matters most — it shows what you are actually using, which is almost never what people estimate.

Business Mobility Built to Grow with You

TELUS Business Plans give Canadian companies dependable coverage, flexible data and pricing that scales as your team grows. As an authorized TELUS dealer, Bolt Wireless helps small and medium businesses across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario choose the right mix of lines, data and devices, without overpaying for capacity you do not use. Whether you have two phones or two hundred, we tailor a plan around how your business actually works.

Pooled Data and Multi-Line Savings

Stop juggling separate plans for every employee. With pooled and shared data, your whole team draws from one allowance, so heavy users and light users balance out and you avoid surprise overages. Multi-line discounts mean the more lines you add, the more you save per line, making it easy to equip new hires affordably.

  • Pooled and shared data across your entire team
  • Multi-line discounts that grow as you add employees
  • Dedicated business support with priority service
  • Device management and the latest business-ready smartphones
  • Fleet add-ons for tracking, connectivity and field teams

Frequently Asked Questions

How many lines do I need before a business plan is worth it?

There is no hard threshold. Two lines can be worth moving if you want the numbers owned by the business rather than by staff, or if you want one bill. The saving side usually starts to matter from around three to five lines, but the control and billing side applies immediately.

Can I keep our existing phone numbers?

Yes. Numbers port across from any Canadian carrier, including numbers currently on employees' personal accounts, provided the account holder consents. Bring the current bills and account numbers — not just the handsets — and we can complete the port without the numbers going out of service.

What is the difference between a business plan and several consumer plans?

A business account consolidates billing, lets data pool across lines, allows lines to be added or removed as staff change, and routes you to business support. Several consumer plans give you none of that and are administered one at a time. Whether it costs less depends on your usage, which is why we ask for a bill.

Do you handle TELUS Business Connect as well?

Yes. Business Connect is the cloud phone system — business numbers, extensions and call handling that work across mobiles and desk phones — and it is a separate product from mobility plans. We can set up either or both, and it is worth discussing together if you are rethinking how calls reach your business.

Which stores handle business accounts?

All Bolt Wireless locations across British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario. For anything above a handful of lines, call ahead so we can put aside enough time — a proper business setup is a conversation about how you work, not a fifteen-minute transaction.

TELUS Corporate & Government Plans

Two different things get called "corporate plans," and the distinction decides your price:

  • Business mobility plans— plans in the company's name, for teams from 1 line to fleets. Pooled data, device management, and a dealer (us) who answers the phone when a line breaks mid-workday.
  • Employee discounts via EPP— if you work for a government body, health authority, school board, or TELUS partner company, you personally qualify for discounted rates on your own plan. That's the Exclusive Partner Program, and most public servants we meet didn't know they were eligible.

Running a business AND employing eligible staff? Both can apply at once — business lines for the company, EPP for the team's personal phones. We set up both from any Bolt Wireless store.
