On West Pender in the Downtown Core

We are on West Pender between Seymour and Richards, in the middle of the downtown office district. The bus stops on West Pender are directly outside in both directions, and West Hastings is one block north.

Getting Here on Foot or by Transit

Waterfront and Granville stations are both a short walk, and the Pender and Hastings bus routes stop within thirty seconds of the door. Pacific Centre is about half a kilometre away, so if you are already shopping on Granville we are a few minutes on foot. If you work downtown you can almost certainly reach us and get back inside a lunch break, which is how a good share of our activations actually happen.

Built for a Downtown Schedule

Most people who walk in here are between other things. We keep the common jobs — SIM swaps, plan changes, adding a line, porting a number from Rogers or Bell — short enough to finish in one visit, and we will tell you honestly at the start if something needs longer so you can decide whether to wait or come back.

Business, EPP and Student Plans Downtown

The blocks around Pender and Hastings are offices, and a large part of what we do reflects that: employer plans, small-business lines and people whose company is on the TELUS EPP list without knowing it.

Check Whether Your Employer Qualifies

TELUS Exclusive Partner Program pricing is available through many downtown employers, and most people find out they were eligible long after they signed up at full price. Bring your work email or employee ID and we will check your organisation against the current list before you commit to anything.

Small Business Lines Without the Runaround

If you run a small team downtown, we can set up multiple lines on one account, sort out billing and get devices activated in a single visit rather than over a series of phone calls. We will also look at whether your current setup is costing more than it needs to before recommending a change.

Pacific Centre and the Granville Blocks

We are half a kilometre from Pacific Centre, which puts us a few minutes on foot from the busiest shopping stretch downtown.

Coming From Pacific Centre

Head north on Granville or Howe and you are at Pender in about five minutes. We carry TELUS and Koodo together, so if the question is which of the two suits you, you can ask it in a shop that sells both and see the answer side by side.

Between Other Things

Most people who come in from the Granville blocks are mid-errand. Plan changes, SIM swaps, adding a line and number ports from Rogers or Bell are the jobs we can finish while you wait. Device financing and a full switch take longer, and we will say so before you sit down rather than after.

West End Rentals and Downtown Towers

Downtown and the West End are a different housing stock from the rest of the network: rental towers, exclusive in-building wiring, and single-line accounts rather than family bundles. This store is temporarily closed for building construction — New Westminster can take the same conversation.

Single-Line Plans for West End Renters

West End has the smallest average household in Vancouver, about 1.5 people, and more than 80% of residents rent. About half the population here lives in high-rises built between 1960 and 1980. That points to a different plan conversation than a family bundle: mostly single lines, and often a new lease meaning a new address and sometimes a new number. We can help you port your existing number onto a new TELUS or Koodo line, and update it again when your lease changes.

PureFibre in a Downtown or Yaletown High-Rise

Getting TELUS PureFibre into a Downtown or Yaletown tower often comes down to the building, not the street. Novus has specialised in downtown Vancouver high-rises since 1996, holding exclusive fibre agreements at over 1,000 multi-dwelling units, and a tower can end up wired to just one provider. TELUS runs its own program to wire buildings to a demarcation point, but older towers inside a fibre neighbourhood can still be missed. We can check what is actually installed at your address before you commit to anything.

Optik TV in a Yaletown Condo Tower

Yaletown condo towers sit on the old Concord Pacific lands: Concord Pacific Developments formed in 1987 to redevelop the Expo 86 site, and three dozen condominium towers were completed by 2010. Novus has run exclusive in-building agreements in Yaletown since 1996, and TELUS notes that some buildings have exclusive agreements that block a TELUS install outright. Whether Optik TV reaches your unit is a building question, not a street one. We can check what your specific tower allows before you sign up.

SmartHome Security in a West End Rental Tower

More than 80% of West End residents rent, and about half the neighbourhood's population lives in the high-rises built between 1960 and 1980. Installing SmartHome Security in one of these towers usually means a landlord or strata conversation before anything gets mounted, not a straightforward homeowner job. We can walk you through which sensors and cameras are wireless and removable versus what needs building permission to mount, and what happens to the system when your lease ends.
